Soulard's Oktoberfest  E-mail
Written by Administrator
Tuesday, 25 October 2005
Hundreds of people flocked to Soulard last weekend to enjoy German beer and food and authentic German music at Soulard's Second Annual Oktoberfest.  Two big tents housing plenty of seating and refreshments and host to live music throughout the weekend sheltered festival goers from the cool October air.  And if that wasn't enough, you could have warmed yourself next to the pig roast--great for warmth and appetite stimulation.  A 73 foot long bratwurst may have stimulated a few appetites as well.  Those of us who were there certainly look forward to next year, and those who weren't will be able to make up for it at next year's Soulard's Oktoberfest.
