The 18th Annual Soulard Bastille Festival was held July 8 -10. The weather was beautiful and everyone who came for the event was treated to a "Royal" good time. The free blues music on Saturday was the best around and the Tour de Soulard bicycle race was as exciting as ever. Thank you Joanie and all your volunteers for doing a superb job. Our

The second annual
“Soulard Artistic
Adventure”
held on June 18
th
, 2005 at Soulard Market Park and at Soulard area businesses was a good day in the neighborhood. 21 artists displayed and sold their works at the Market Promenade. A Soulard information booth handed out 220 "Pub and Grub Crawl" brouchures and 35 "Historic Walking Tour Maps". People came to Soulard for the event and enjoyed the neighborhood. Another art show is being planned in conjunction with the Blue Grass Festival on September 17, 2005.
